Almost exactly a year later, we were at Perinton park again. Only this time, not only did we not have the Oregon Onesie with us, it won’t even fit our daughter anymore.

Hard to believe she’s almost a year old. Time pretty much flys by now.

On a Sunday afternoon a few weeks ago it was gorgeous outside so Rachel and I spent the afternoon with the little one. So what she’s not born yet? We’re anxious parents so we couldn’t wait.
Rachel’s brother George & his wife Stacie gave us Oregon shirts for Christmas last year & we just got a package from them for the baby with a Oregon onesie in it. It was too cute to wait a few months before using so we had a perfectly normal fun Sunday afternoon at the park. Leave us alone.
Wow!
Technology is amazing.
I know Ultrasounds aren’t really all that new but they can show you some really cool stuff! Seriously, this is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen.
Our little baby is gonna be an acrobat or something, she sure is active and flexible! You can almost make out her face if you watch closely.
I just wish the offices would catch up with their technology. We’re forced to record the Ultrasounds on VHS. Seriously… VHS. We even bought a 4 pack of them (smallest available) from Target for the first one and it was like $8! All we do with them is convert them from VHS->DVD for archival storage and then rip the DVD->Computer for your enjoyment and our viewing purposes (we’re all digital).
Thanks to Greg I now know I have one real job to do as a father.

Just one, hopefully I can get this one right…
When Charles, Rachel and I visited Rome in 2005 the last thing I expected to do was drink until the sun came up.
That’s exactly what happened.
We stayed in the Yellow Hostel in the middle of Rome and, although we didn’t know it until the second night, we were bunking(in the same room not the same bed) with two Australian girls in town for the weekend from their Nanny jobs in Milan. Rachel quickly made friends and what do you know but they both had a thing for partying. They told us about this pub crawl starting at the Spanish Steps they had heard of: $25 for a t-shirt, a drink and deals at every bar/club and a night of spending time with people from all over the world drinking till we forget it happened!? Sweet, where do we sign?
We literally drank until the sun came up and we had to catch the bus to the airport to fly back to London. One of the girls didn’t come back with us. No news on how her night went, but since she went home with one of the guys on the crawl with us, you can draw your own conclusions… Our reward for the night was a shirt that said ‘We came we saw we crawled’ that lasted about 5 washes and a hangover (on the Ryan Air plane) that you wouldn’t believe.
Seriously though, we had an awesome time and have some great stories to share. Getting kicked off city buses in the middle of nowhere, BJ contests in the bar, drinking beer at the top of the Spanish steps, drunken German speak, drunken French speak. Good times.
That said, if you get a chance to pub crawl in Rome, Do it!
Gotta say, we’re excited. We’ve got a little’n on the way.
Yep, a little baby Aldrich.
Rachel is about 4 months Pregnant right now. Naturally we’ve known for a while but we wanted to wait to share until we had something to share.
Yes we know what it is (maybe you can tell from the video) and yes we have the name picked out. However; you’ll have to wait and see. That’ll keep you reading though right?
Baby Aldrich @ 18 weeks:
And, the video of when we told my in-laws:
UPDATE: The video of my in-laws might need an explanation. We gave them a photo-book of our dogs. The first picture had a label on it “The Grandkids” and the last picture was of the pregnancy test.
Good stuff, Pumped.
Last night we went out with some friends. Started at Monty’s corner but ended up at Daisy Dukes. The guy that owns Daisy Dukes, Soho, A Street Live and the couple others around there must be making a fortune. I have never been in that place when its not packed so tight you feel like a bunch of sardines. Anyway Brian walked up to some Random girl and said he’d ride the Bull if she’d ride it with him. Here’s what happened:
